Operating the Reims Aviation Cessna F406, the F406 is versatile, fast, long range and reliable. Unpressurised, equipped with two Pratt & Whitney PT6 A - 112 turboprop engines with an airframe of entirely metal construction, low winged, designed to offer rapidity, power, performance, versatility and flexibility. Operated by a crew of three: Captain, First Officer and Systems Operator; the crew are specialist in low level operations. BAe 146
DirectFlight will operate the unique BAe 146 Atmospheric Research Aircraft (ARA) on behalf of the Facility for Airborne Atmospheric Measurements (FAAM), operating from Cranfield, Bedfordshire.

FAAM is run jointly by the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) Centres for Atmospheric Science and the Met Office. FAAM will be based at the campus of Cranfield University. The University campus is able to provide the facilities and accommodation required to host meteorological/atmospheric science conferences.
